As part of this initiative, the company also made significant gains in its sustainability initiatives through recycling and waste reduction practices.

Sustainability is a key company initiative. Major accomplishments over the past year included:
- Recycling 155,221 pounds of material in 2012 consisting of cardboard, wood pallets, raw materials (yarn and primary backing), finished goods, plastics, paper and more. The company uses over 99% of all raw materials, and all remaining raw materials are recycled.
- 100% of our finished goods/products are recyclable.
- Achieving a reduction in waste in excess of 75% from 2011 to 2012.
